The Piaggio MP3 and Gilera Fuoco are the latest scooters to benefit from the Malossi line of advanced “Twins” suspensions. Developed from their extensive knowledge of suspension from the highly regarded race events in Italy and their already popular RS24 and RS3 range of suspension units for the smaller capacity scooters.

The Malossi "Twins" belong to the RS24 line of products, Malossi's premier range of suspension components, and as such hundreds of hours in the research and development department have been invested. Performance, comfort and reliability, are key factors for any suspension product. Many prototypes have been put through their paces to produce a product that fills those three main criteria.

As always Malossi have used only the finest materials to produce the suspension units whilst maintaining an excellent balance between performance and cost. Malossi have been at the forefront of variator development, and the new Malossi Multivar Variator has been designed to offer a more consistent and reliable shifting process, with redesigned face and roller ramp angles to obtain the very best power transfer from the scooters engine, whilst offering an extended service life.

Malossi variators undergo extensive testing and development in their R & D department to ensure that every part meets their strict standards both in terms of quality and performance.

The variator is supplied as a complete kit with rollers, variator driven pulley, pulley bush, back plate, and torsion spring. Owners wishing to further refine the transmission can also choose from a wide selection of roller weights from the extensive Malossi range.

NEW - Malossi 182cc Piaggio 3 Valve Cylinder Kit

Closely following the release of the 218cc Piaggio Leader cylinder kit, Malossi have also announced a new 182cc cylinder for the Piaggio 3 valve 125cc engine.

Designed from the ground up for the 2014 Vespa Primavera 125 and Vespa Sprint 125, the cylinder kit utilises the impressive Force Master 2 ECU to handle the fuel injection duties. The Force Master 2 CDI unit offers outstanding performance, reliability and consistency of fuelling. It uses 4 different mappings, allowing the rider to personalise the feel and performance of the scooter. The owner can then choose the mapping best suited to the type of riding/use. This feature is unique and offers the rider a better balance and real value for money.

Manufactured from aluminium with a high content of hardened and tempered silicon and a silicon carbide coated liner which is machined on CNC machines to provide a tolerance of just 0.05mm. The cylinder is supplied with matched piston kit that has a special tin coating on the mating surfaces for a lower sliding resistance, as well as being lightened and reinforced for outstanding durability.

NEW - High Quality Polyurethane Engine & Suspension Mounts

Owners of Classic Vespa and Vespa GTS scooters looking to get more from their suspension setup will fully appreciate these new suspension parts and engine mounts from VE (UK).

The new high quality mounts and bush kits are manufactured from a polyurethane compound with added aramid (kevlar) fibres. This mixture creates a compliant yet flexible product, that not only has the rebound properties of normal  polyurethane but adds unsurpassed tensile strength and abrasion resistance to minimise wear through use. 

Finished in a distinctive blue, the new mount and bushing kits will improve the handling of the scooter dramatically, with less side to side play compared to normal rubber sets. This in turn improves front to rear wheel tracking resulting in sharper handling and cornering stability.

Malossi 218cc Piaggio Leader Cylinder Kit

Malossi continue the evolution of their cylinder kit line up, with an increased capacity 4T cylinder for the widely used Piaggio Leader LC engine. 

The new Malossi cylinder kit has been increased from the previously big bore 210cc to an exceptional 218cc with a bore diameter of 75.5mm. Featuring all the benefits of the previous version, the cylinder kit is produced from high quality alloys which is then machined to very strict tolerances. 

Technical features include, recalculated heat exchange surfaces for more efficient cooling, ultra compact lightened and reinforced piston kit, and dual compatibility with the standard cylinder head or with the Malossi V4 head. 

This latest addition to their cylinder kit family builds upon Malossi’s years of expertise and knowledge to produce products that are second to none in the Scooter tuning world.
