NEW - Malossi Maxi Scooter "Wild Lion" Exhaust Systems

Malossi have introduced five new fitments for their popular Maxi scooter performance exhaust system the “Wild Lion”. Covering a selection of key models from BMW, Gilera, and Yamaha, the new exhausts join the already extensive line-up.

The “Wild Lion” exhausts have an elegant design with minimal noise output whilst still improving overall performance. The road legal exhausts are manufactured from stainless steel with a full carbon fibre end cap, featuring a removable DB killer for track days, and a carbon fibre mounting strap. Although showing only the can in our image, the systems are supplied with front pipe and fitting kit.

The final assembly of the exhaust is made with stainless steel clamps which are riveted to ensure a leak free exhaust system.

NEW - Malossi HTQ Gears for Vespa PX/Cosa

Malossi has released details of their “new” upcoming gear kits for the Vespa PX and Cosa scooters, which are available to pre-order now from VE (UK).

For years large frame Vespas had a relatively small choice of primary gear ratios available, however with the later 8 spring “Cosa” style clutch a wider range of ratios became available. Owners who had tuned their scooters found that the ratios were still not high enough for their requirements, when compared to the “tall” gear kits that Malossi used to produce for the older style clutch. 

Malossi have addressed this issue and have announced two new gear kits for the large frame Vespas giving owners the taller gearing that they require. Available in either a or 2.62 to 1 (63-24), or 2.78 to 1 (64-23) ratios, they offer a marked change over the standard gearing.

The completely redesigned gear set uses straight cut teeth that have been developed to offer quieter running through the finishing processes used. Malossi utilise a digital testing machine to ensure a perfect match between the paired gears, before heat treating them to give them the hardness and durability required for use under heavy load.

NEW - Vespa GT/GTS Replacement Lock Parts

Fresh in stock at VE (UK) are a range of spare lock parts for the Vespa GT/GTS.

One of the main items broken in an attempted theft of a scooter is the steering/ignition lock assembly. VE (UK) are now able to offer a ‘key’ selection of parts to bring down the cost of repairing the machine back to a secure state.

The range includes wire retaining clips for the steering lock and steering lock switch, a replacement weld on tube for the steering lock, and the locking bar also for the steering lock, and VE prices are very reasonable compared to OE, for instance. 

Included is a replacement lock barrel and keys for the machine. The lock barrel is supplied with both the blue and red keys along with a security card detailing the key number. To complete the fitment of the replacement lock the keys will need programming to the scooters CDI/ECU unit to allow the immobiliser to be disarmed. The barrel and key set is also suitable for owners who have lost their original keys and require a new key set and matching lock.

   

These new lock parts add to the existing range that VE (UK) stock for Automatic and Classic scooters, as well as Moto 50/125 machines.

The “Flip” is Malossi’s newest exhaust system for the small capacity scooter market and is available through VE (UK), the Sole Official Factory Appointed UK Importer.

The exhaust combines race looks with road legality at a very affordable price point in todays market. Manufactured from a special sheet steel of 1.5mm thickness, the exhaust features silencing baffles, aluminium or steel mounting brackets with vibration reduction system, and is finished with a protective clear coat lacquer.

The anodised aluminium silencer bearing the Malossi name can be stripped for repacking when the need arises.

Available to fit over 25 models of popular 50cc automatic scooters from leading manufacturers including: Aprilia, Gilera, MBK, Piaggio, and Yamaha.

NEW - CNC Adjustable Levers for Vespa GT/GTS

VE (UK) are always adding new items for the Maxi Scooter range, and these new brake levers for the Vespa GT/GTS range are testament to this. 

These new CNC levers are available in short fixed blade, short folding blade, or with a folding adjustable length blade design, with all three styles having “on the fly” adjustable lever reach. These levers also feature a large flattened ball on the end for a reassuring grip on the lever.

In most cases if you fall or drop your machine it will result in the loss of a brake lever. The new folding levers are designed to help alleviate the loss of a lever. These levers will pivot up away from the point of impact should a tumble occur allowing the handlebar end to take the impact. This unique feature can be a true "lever saver", hopefully allowing the rider to pick the machine up and carry on with their journey, safe in the knowledge that they still have both brake levers in working order.

NEW - Tameni 110mm & 115mm Rod Crankshafts for Lambretta GP

VE (UK) have added four new crankshafts for the Lambretta GP scooters from Italian manufacturer Tameni to their range.

The new cranks are available in either the standard stroke length of 58mm or the longer 60mm stroke with a 110mm or 115mm con rod length. These new options join the existing standard 107mm length con rod variants to cater for wider range of cylinders from to standard to performance. The small end bearing eye of the con rod has drilled oil pathways to aid lubrication of the bearing. 

Additionally, VE's range of crank bearings to suit the Lambretta GP scooters are also of European origin from some of the worlds leading bearing manufacturers, including F.A.G and NKE.

Complete gasket sets, as well as individual gaskets, and oil seals are also available from VE (UK) to complete the parts required for a rebuild of the scooters bottom end.
