Malossi developed the “Red Chilli” range of oil filters to protect the engines that are used in their dedicated race events. Designed to trap even the smallest particle that may be present in the oil circulating the engine, they perform flawlessly over an extreme temperature range. This makes them perfect for every day use on the road as well as the race track.

The range of standard replacement air filters are designed to replace the OE filter and are available in either a flat sponge configuration, or dedicated panel filters for certain Maxi scooters. Both styles of filter utilise a fine sponge material to remove smaller particles than the original filter, whilst maintaining a higher air flow rate. For owners looking for even more filtration, Malossi produce the “Double Red” sponge filter thats adds a second finer layer of sponge.

NEW - Pinasco Competition Crankshaft for Vespa T5

Pinasco, available through UK importer VE (UK), have developed a competition crankshaft for the Vespa T5. Designed to work perfectly with both the standard crankcase and Pinasco’s new Master and Slave crankcases.

The new crank has a standard 52mm stroke length, with increased inlet timing to boost performance and is suitable for both rotary and reed valve induction. The fitted con-rod has a “H” shaped cross section for reduced weight and increased strength. A silver plated big end bearing supports the polished con-rod.

NEW - Standard Cylinder Kit for Yamaha 125 4t LC Machines

VE (UK) stock a wide range of standard replacement cylinder kits for Automatic & Classic scooters, Moto 50/125, and the Piaggio Ape’. The latest addition to the range is a standard cylinder kit for the Yamaha 4t 125cc engine that is used both in Automatic scooters as well as several Moto 125 machines.

Manufactured to a high standard from aluminium the 125cc cylinder is supplied with top end gasket set, piston, piston rings, gudgeon pin, and piston circlips, allowing for a simple overhaul of the engines top end.

Also available for those who do not require a complete cylinder are a standard replacement piston kit and a top end gasket set.

Polycarbonate Headlamps for Classic Scooters

Owners of Classic Vespas and Lambretta GP’s will be interested to learn about the range of specialised polycarbonate headlamps available from VE (UK).

The Polycarbonate headlamps offer owners the benefit of running brighter halogen headlamp bulbs with a higher wattage, without the fear of discolouring or melting their plastic headlamp glass. Another added benefit is that the models available for Classic Vespa scooters also feature a perfectly clear lens giving their classic machine a more modern look akin to the PX disc headlamp. All the headlamps are supplied with bulb holders for a complete solution.

The road legal exhaust is manufactured from stainless steel finished in black with a full carbon fibre end cap, featuring a removable DB killer for track days.

Malossi Multivar (VB517304): The new Multivar variator has been designed to offer a more consistent and reliable shifting process, with redesigned face and roller ramp angles to obtain the very best power transfer from the scooters engine, whilst offering an extended service life. Supplied with two roller sets for tuning options.

Malossi 02 Controller (VB555721): The O2 controller from Malossi connects inline between the original Lambda sensor and the CDI converting the received signals and modifying them to give the optimal air to fuel ratio. In turn this leads to an increase in performance across the whole rev range. 

Malossi Forcemaster 3 (VB555732): The new Forcemaster 3 features 4 CDI mappings to choose from depending on your tuning level, and a redesigned user interface allowing easier setup.

Malossi Torque Drivers from VE (UK)

A commonly overlooked area of a scooters transmission is the rear pulley assembly. Performance can be vastly improved by fitting a Malossi torque driver.

The Malossi torque driver has been designed with recalculated pivot grooves to provide a consistent transmission load across the rev range, this allows the initial transmission power dip to be minimised at low speed acceleration. It is highly recommended that the torque driver is fitted along with a Malossi variator and kevlar drive belt to ensure the best possible performance. 

The torque drivers are manufactured from special nitride steels to ensure a long life, and have been extensively tested on the race circuit. Each torque driver has been developed on CAD-CAM systems specifically for the machine that is designed to fit, further ensuring the best possible performance.
