The range of Pinasco “Flytech” ignition kits for classic Vespa scooters have proved very popular amongst owners. Based on this Pinasco have just added two new kits to the range, this time for Lambretta owners, both of which are available through VE (UK).

The new ignition kits are available in both Li/SX/TV (LE10814) and GP (LE10815) crankshaft taper fitments and feature Pinasco’s new “Sparkey” CDI which increases spark plug output and performance. 

Both ignition kits are suitable for 125/150/175/200cc Lambretta engines, simply choose the fitment that matches your cranks taper.

Key features that make this product unique include:

• Super light rotor with an internal steel bulkhead which protects both the magnets and the stator in case of crankshaft failure.

• Ballasts that are machined from solid metal, not tubing, which have been balanced and zinc plated.

• A high density nylon cooling fan that has an enhanced fin profile aimed at keeping the engine cool even in the worst conditions, increasing air flow by 20% compared to a standard flywheel.

• The die-cast aluminium stator plate features a graduated scale to allow easier setting of the engines ignition timing.

Malossi Screen & Wild Lion Exhaust for Honda X-ADV 750

Malossi have added to the ranks of Maxi scooters that they manufacture their exhausts and screens for with the addition of the Honda X-ADV 750 to the range, which are available from VE (UK).

Malossi Black Sports Flyscreen (VB458330): Designed to be a direct replacement for the original screen, the Malossi sports screen is manufactured from a high quality PMMA material. Measuring 450mm tall by 340mm wide, the design allows for maximum rider visibility.

Malossi Wild Lion (VB328321): The “Wild Lion” exhaust has an elegant design with minimal noise output whilst still improving overall performance. The road legal exhaust is manufactured from stainless steel finished in black with a full carbon fibre end cap, featuring a removable DB killer for track days. For owners wishing to gain more performance, Malossi also manufacture a set of front pipes (VB328323) to replace the originals.

NEW - Malossi full circle crankshafts & Spacer kit for 135 MHR

Malossi have released 3 new products to complement their 135cc MHR cylinder kit for the Vespa small frame, all are available from VE (UK).

Full circle crankshaft with 97mm con-rod (VM536528) & Full circle crankshaft with longer 105mm con-rod (VM536517): The new crankshafts from Malossi both feature a full circle design to boost primary compression, and are designed to be used exclusively with reed valve induction. They are both made from aeronautical quality reinforced steel and are founded in a vacuum. The "viper head" con rod's shape is designed to limit weight to a minimum whilst guaranteeing the required rigidity. Tungsten inserts ensure the crank is balanced even at the highest RPM. The keyway on the drive side has been repositioned to allow more strength on the drive side thread, which also now has a finer pitch and special nuts are supplied to allow a higher torque to be used. Suitable for large taper flywheels only.

8mm cylinder spacer kit (VM077472): Expressly designed for use with the 135cc MHR cylinder kit (VM315829)  and the new Malossi crankshaft 105mm rod crank, the spacer kit lifts the cylinder by 8mm to position the ports correctly. The extra length of the 105mm rod reduces the stress load on the big end bearing allowing for more tuning options. Supplied with gaskets, spacer, and longer studs.

NEW - Malossi RX Black & Sports Screen for Honda Forza 300

With new Euro 4 specification machines appearing on the market on an almost daily basis, Malossi are in constant development of new performance products and accessories for the new models. Their latest additions are for the popular Honda Forza 300, which are available through VE (UK).

Malossi Black Sports Flyscreen (VB458331): The Malossi sports screen is designed to be a direct replacement for the original screen and is manufactured from a high quality PMMA material. Measuring 400mm tall by 395mm wide, the design allows for maximum rider visibility.

Malossi RX Black (VB328255): Manufactured from black anodised aluminium and tipped with a real carbon fibre end cap, the "RX" exhaust features a vibration reduction system using three mounting blocks that have been designed and tested throughly to minimise the effects of transmitted vibration from the scooters engine and road surface. 

The “RX” exhaust is 'E' marked for road use and features a vast range of technological advances but it has also been developed to save weight over a standard system, in fact an “RX” system weighs on average just 3.5kg.

NEW - Scorpion Serket All Black Exhaust for Vespa GTS

Scorpion Exhausts have added a new option for Vespa GTS 2008-2018, which is available through factory appointed distributor VE (UK).

Now available in a ceramic black finish with matching black ceramic coated link pipe to give a stealth look to the exhaust system. The header pipe which is supplied in polished stainless steel remains hidden under the bodywork so not to detract from the all black finish. The exhaust system is supplied with all the required hardware for installation included in the box. 

Significantly lighter than the OE system, 4.1 kg as opposed to 5.6 kg, the exhaust has been developed and refined using a dyno to produce a marked increase in performance across the entire rev range. The exhaust can is also covered by Scorpions Lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects and corrosion, further reinforcing the products quality.

NEW - Malossi 183cc Cylinder Kit for Vespa GTS 125 iGet Euro 4

Malossi have released a new cylinder kit for the Vespa GTS 125 iGet Euro 4 specification machines, which is now available from VE (UK).

The new 183cc cylinder kit is manufactured from an aluminium alloy with a high content of silicon which has been machined on high precision CNC machines with a tolerance of just 0.05mm. Technical features include, recalculated heat exchange surfaces for more efficient cooling, ultra compact lightened and reinforced piston kit, and low friction piston rings.

The new cylinder kit requires the fitment of the Malossi Forcemaster 2 ECU (VM557738) which allows adjustment of the fuelling with 4 different maps and increases the rev limiter by 1000 rpm.

Both items are also suitable for fitment to the Piaggio Medley 2016 onwards scooter.
