New - Malossi RS24/10-R Maxi Scooter Rear Dampers

Malossi have released 3 new rear dampers for large capacity Maxi Scooters that are available from VE (UK), the Sole Factory Appointed UK Distributor.

The new “RS24/10-R” dampers are manufactured from CNC machined 7075 aluminium, and feature a 16mm diameter chromed damper shaft. 

Tuning the dampers feel to your liking is made possible by the 4 adjustments that can be made: height adjustment, rebound damping, pre-load, and compression damping. 

Key damper specifications:
• 40mm damper piston
• Low viscosity oil to reduce temperature variations
• Twin nitrogen cylinders to control compression and rebound damping
• Low friction hard chrome damper shaft
• Height adjustable (-2mm +8mm)

Finished in anodised black and red with a white spring, the dampers are available for the following models of Maxi Scooter:

BMW: C Sport 600 up to 2015, C Sport 650 e4 2016 on
Kymco: AK 550 2017 on 
Yamaha: T-Max 530 2017 on

NEW - Pinasco 144 Zuera Cylinder Kits & Matching Exhaust System

Vespa 90/100/Primavera/PK100-125 owners looking for even more performance from their machine will be interested in the new Pinasco 144cc cylinder kits and matching exhaust system available from VE (UK).

Pinasco 144cc Zuera: The 144cc, (60mm bore) Pinasco Zuera range is available in 2 versions, the RR version (VE10806) for rotary valve induction fed through the crankcase and the VTR version (VE10807) with a large reed valve inlet on the cylinder.

Both variants of the cylinder feature a spigot less design in order to allow the big 60mm kit to fit small frame engine casings without the need to bore out the casing mouth, and a head with 8 bolt fitting with centrally placed spark plug for increased performance. 

They are both high specification, high power cylinder kits that have been born on the race track and will need to be used with a suitable carb (25mm minimum, but 28/30mm is recommended) and a suitable expansion chamber exhaust like the Pinasco VE10808

Pinasco big bore expansion (VE10808): Designed to used specifically with the Pinasco Zuera 144 cylinder kits and extract the most performance possible from the engine, and is supplied with all fittings required.

NEW - Pinasco Vespa Small Frame Crankcases

Building on the success of the Pinasco crankcases for the Vespa PX and T5 range, Pinasco have released 3 reed valve crankcase options for the Vespa “Small Frame” which are available through UK importer VE (UK). 

The Pinasco reed valve crankcases for the Vespa “Small Frame” are available in the following versions: 
• VE10791 - “Slave 8X naked”
VE10791-51 - “Slave 8X 51” with 51mm stroke “Factory” crankshaft
VE10791-54 - “Slave 8X 54” with 54mm stroke “Factory” crankshaft. 

All versions feature larger bearing seats, reinforcement on critical stress areas, and an 8 petal reed block. The crankcases include all studs and gaskets required.

Pinasco have also introduced a system to allow the gear cluster to be changed without removing the engine from the frame, and only having to remove the clutch assembly to access the removal of the gear cluster. This has been achieved by developing their “Removable gear system” to allow racers to easily swap out ratios in the paddocks with the minimum of fuss.

Vespa small frame owners looking to replace worn or damaged gears in their late 4 speed gearbox can now obtain single gears from VE (UK)

Previously only available as a complete gearbox kit (VC11084), the new range of replacement gears are suitable for machines fitted with a 50.2mm gear selector. Manufactured to OE quality in Italy, the gears are produced from hardened steel to offer a long lasting replacement.

NEW - Malossi Classic Vespa Clutch Kits

Malossi have increased the range of clutches available for Classic Vespa scooters with the addition of 6 new kits which are available from VE (UK).

Vespa PX: Available in either “Sport” or “MHR” compounds in 6 spring configuration for PX 125/150 engines or 7 spring configuration for the PX 200 engine. The “Sport” compound kits are intended to replace original parts in order to improve clutch performance, with increased modulation and consistency. 

The “MHR” compound is specifically designed for competitions and for the most demanding customers. They have friction materials made of blends without cork and rubber which allow an extreme use causing no problems of sticking and slipping.

Vespa small frame: Available in “MHR” and “MHR Team” versions for the most demanding users. The “MHR” kits include 4 cork plates, 3 steel plates and a Malossi clutch spring and use the same compound as the PX versions. 

The “MHR Team” includes the same component parts but with an even higher specification compound that were developed by Malossi technicians in close co-operation with riders directly on the race track. They ensure maximum performance consistency even under extreme riding conditions.

Pinasco Performance Parts, available through VE (UK), manufacture a vast range of performance products for classic Vespa scooters. Their latest products cater for the vintage “wide frame” Vespa scooter owners who have fitted a Pinasco 160cc cylinder kit.

The two new carb kits are built around a modified Dellorto PHVB 22 that has been fitted with a special mechanism to open the throttle with a cable running from below the carb. Available either without a manifold (VE10812) for use with the 160cc reed valve cylinder kit (VE10810-RV), or with a manifold included (VE10813) for use with the rotary valve version of the cylinder (VE10810).

Both carb kits include air filter, carb rubber, and fittings.

Both carb kits are suitable for fitment to the following wide frame Vespa models: Vespa 125 VM1-2 1952-54, Vespa 125 VN1-2 1954-57, Vespa 150 VB1 1957-58, Vespa VL1 1955, Vespa VD1-2 1956-59, Vespa VGL1 1956-58 ACMA, Vespa VGLA-B 1957-58.

NEW - Malossi 66cc Yamaha Aerox/Neos 4T e4 Cylinder & ECU

With many of the Euro 4 50cc 4T scooters being heavily restrained in performance by the new regulations, Italian tuning specialists Malossi are constantly developing new parts for those machines. The latest products available from VE (UK) add a cylinder kit and ECU for the Yamaha Aerox & Neos Euro 4 2018 onwards machines.

Malossi 66cc cylinder kit (YM313579): The new 66cc cylinder kit is manufactured from an aluminium alloy with a high content of silicon which has been machined on high precision CNC machines with a tolerance of just 0.05mm. Technical features include, recalculated heat exchange surfaces for more efficient cooling, ultra compact lightened and reinforced piston kit, and low friction piston rings. The cylinder kit must be used in conjunction with the Forcemaster ECU (YM558370).

Malossi Forcemaster ECU (YM558370): The Forcemaster ECU can be fitted to machines with either the original cylinder or Malossi’s 66cc cylinder kit by utilising one of the 4 inbuilt maps. The ECU lifts the rev limiter by 1300 rpm from 9200 to 10500, giving a substantial increase in performance when paired with the Malossi cylinder and noticeable improvements in performance with the standard cylinder.

NEW - Vespa Wide Frame Pinasco Cylinder Kits

Pinasco Performance Parts, available through VE (UK), manufacture a vast range of performance products for classic Vespa scooters including cylinder kits for the vintage “wide frame” models.

Available in either rotary valve induction (VE10810) or reed valve induction (VE10810-RV), the cylinder kits are manufactured from aluminium with a Nicasil plated bore and have a capacity of 160cc. The head has been upgraded to use a 5 stud configuration to secure it to the  cylinder, and is to be used with a 57mm stroke crankshaft. 

Both cylinder kits are suitable for fitment to the following wide frame Vespa models that use a 3 stud cylinder configuration: VN1 125, VN2 125, VN3 125, VL1 150, VL2 150, VL3 150, VNA 125 (5%), VNB 125 (5%), and VB1 150 (5%).
