Malossi have developed the cylinder kit to offer GY6 powered scooter owners the opportunity to not only increase the performance and capacity of their machine, but also benefit from some of the worlds leading cylinder kit technology.
The cylinder is manufactured from Nikasil plated aluminium alloy with a high content of hardened and tempered silicone with final machining of the cylinder performed by CNC machines with a tolerance of less than 0.05mm. The cylinder also benefits from redesigned and upgraded heat exchange surfaces to allow the engine to run cooler. The Malossi 52mm cylinder kit for the 50cc GY6 engine increases the scooters capacity to 88cc.
The GY6 50cc engine is fitted to many scooters, including models from Baotian, Garelli, Kymco, Peugeot, and Sym.
