New Popeye, Olive Oyl, & Betty Boop NZI Helmets From VE (UK)

VE (UK), sole UK importers of the NZI Helmet range are pleased to announce the launch of NZI's 2014 character collection which includes the iconic cartoon figures of Popeye, Olive Oyl, and Betty Boop.

The designs featuring the three characters are fully licensed from King Features® to NZI for use on their helmets and have also been authorised for sale in the UK through VE (UK).

The characters have a long history and are known world wide as some of the most influential marketing icons and will appeal to many two wheeled owners no matter what age they may be.

Popeye: Popeye the Sailor Man is a cartoon action character created by Elzie Crisler Segar who has appeared in comic strips and theatrical and television animated cartoons. He first appeared in the daily King Features comic strip Thimble Theatre on January 17, 1929. Popeye became the strip's title in later years.

Olive Oyl: Long before she met Popeye the Sailor Man, Olive Oyl was a star in her own right.A classic character with multi-generational appeal, Olive Oyl’s rich history and Brand message of female empowerment and self-confidence are key elements to her enduring legacy. Like her boyfriend Popeye, she is who she is – and people love her for it!

Betty Boop: From her first appearance in 1930, Betty Boop won the hearts of fans around the world with her unique blend of wide-eyed innocence and powerful cartoon sensuality. Today, animation’s first leading lady remains a glamorous international star who has ignited a fashion-centric trend with a vast percentage of women and teens globally.

The helmets featuring the characters are available in either the Vintage II (open face) or Activy shell (full face) dependant on the design.
