The three VE (UK) exclusive designs have been manufactured in Spain using NZI's patented 3D manufacturing techniques, meaning that these helmets have no stickers or vinyl graphics in sight. The design is digitised directly onto the helmet shell during manufacture and sealed using a gloss finish, resulting in a level of detail that you would normally only find in a digital photograph, with the bonus of a brighter, harder wearing finish that will last the lifetime of the helmet.

Malossi Performance for YZF-R 125 & CBR 125R

Malossi have been at the forefront of scooter tuning for many years with a vast array of products available, additionally they also manufacture a dedicated range for the Moto 50/125 market as well. 

Two of their most popular products are cylinder kits for the Yamaha YZF-R 125 and the Honda CBR 125R. The Yamaha YZF-R 125 cylinder kit is used in their dedicated race series for the machine to great effect.  

The cylinder kits are manufactured from Nikasil plated aluminium alloy with a high content of hardened and tempered silicone. Final machining of the cylinders with CNC machines ensures a tolerance of less than 0.05mm resulting in a perfect cylinder to piston interface.

Included with both cylinders is Malossi's "Force Master 2" CDI unit that has four different pre-configured mappings to suit various tuning configurations. In addition the CDI unit also raises the rev limiter by 1000rpm allowing not only a greater top speed but also improved acceleration throughout the gear range.

The cylinder kit for the Honda CBR 125R is suitable for fitment to machines from 2007 onwards while the Yamaha YZF-R 125 cylinder is suitable for all model years.

Over and above the cylinder kits Malossi also manufacture a cam shaft, exhaust, and rear shock absorber for the Yamaha.

NEW - Malossi F37R Forks

Malossis' suspension technology is regarding as some of the best in the business amongst the scooter racing fraternity. Their latest addition to the range is their new F37R racing fork.

The forks have been designed to offer the best possible suspension performance with their new 37mm stanchions, preload adjustment, compression damping, and rebound damping, to deliver a truly customised feel that can be tuned for your exact riding style.

To aid with the free movement of the suspension, the stanchions are manufactured from a special steel which has been ground and lapped, and then coated with a titanium finish.

The forks have 90mm of travel and are supplied with everything required for fitment to the scooter, including an all new 250mm oversized "Whoop" disc for excellent stopping performance. To allow the new disc to be fitted utilising the original caliper an adaptor is also supplied.

"GX ONE" exhaust system

Giannelli’s new "GX ONE" exhaust system features a stainless steel header pipe and silencer, with a removable baffle system to maintain the homologation for road use, whilst allowing the owner to remove it for track days. The exhaust profile takes on a cone shape tapering from the header pipe back to the end cap. 

Lighter than the original system fitted to the Yamaha as standard, thanks to the clever use of alloys used in the construction, and offering an good increase in performance across the whole rev range, the "GX ONE" has an excellent price to performance ratio.

NEW - Malossi PX 225cc Race Cylinder

Malossi have further enhanced their Vespa PX cylinder line up with a new 225cc race kit, which is imported by VE (UK), the sole official Factory Appointed Sole UK Importer for Malossi Performance Products.

Like its 210cc MHR little brother, the 225 cylinder kit features redesigned transfer and exhaust ports to allow for maximum performance combined with a single ring piston kit. The new 225 kit has a taller cylinder which requires the use of a 60mm stroke crankshaft with heavily modified crankcases, a carburettor of 30mm or greater in diameter, and a expansion exhaust system. In addition, the cylinder head is located using two centring dowels to guarantee perfect alignment between the head and cylinder. 

Malossi also manufacture an uprated set of crank bearings and PTFE oils seals to ensure the minimal amount of friction is placed on the crank.

Malossi crank bearings:

The bearing set from Malossi offers significant benefits over standard replacement bearings available, with oversized balls, carbon-nitrided inner rings, steel and polymide cages to improve not only longevity but all lubrication properties. Malossi have also had the bearings designed with reinforcement to allow for greater loads for heavy duty applications.

Malossi oil seals:

Each oil seal is built around a carbon steel structure for strength and encapsulated with FKM, a special mix of synthetic rubber and fluoroploymer elastomers, with the auxiliary dust and primary sealing lips manufactured from PTFE. The use of PTFE ensures a very low friction and high wear resistance on the rotating mating surfaces. To maintain a constant pressure on the rotating shafts, Malossi have utilised a stainless steel spring for added durability.

VE (UK) also stock a Mazzucchelli 60mm crankshaft suitable for fitment with the new Malossi 225cc Race cylinder kit.

The use of a fuel tap (VE13092) with an increased flow rate is required to ensure enough fuel can reach the carburettor.

VE (UK) are pleased to announce the arrival of the latest book from Veloce Publishing, "Scooter Mania!", Recollections of the Isle of Man International Scooter Rally.

The book contains recollections of the "Isle of Man International Scooter Rally" from its inception to its demise in 1976, covering a total of twenty years.  Featuring a year by year account of the rally, along with the origins of The Isle of Man Scooter Club, the book makes for interesting reading for any scooter owner, old or new. 

Our own MD. Norrie Kerr penned one of the books forewords and assisted considerably with the identification of scooter riders featured in the many photographs contained within the book.

Additionally, the book includes interviews with ex-competitors and officials, rally reports with results, standings, and awards, and has been compiled with the assistance and full co-operation of the rally organisers and the rally officials. it's a great read and sure to be of interest to all scooter owners.
