Pinasco, available through UK importer VE (UK), have announced the release of the performance cylinder kit that owners of the Vespa GS160 and SS180 have been waiting for.
The new 225cc cylinder kit is based on the popular PX 225 kit that is already available and is manufactured from aluminium with a Nikasil bore coating.
Designed to be a direct replacement for the standard cylinder it features an aluminium inlet manifold with reed valve. The supplied inlet manifold can use either the original carburettor, or an SI model with a diameter up to 28mm. These modifications see a significant power and torque increase across the whole rev range.
