Vespa PX Electric Start 7 wire Stator Plate

Brand new to the range of electrical components available from VE (UK) is a stator plate for the Vespa PX range.

VE16202 - Vespa PX electric start models 1984-1997. This direct replacement 7 wire stator plate has 3 loose wires that connect to the CDI and 4 wires that are pre-installed in to the round multi plug that connects to the scooters wiring loom. Manufactured to OEM specifications and equivalent to OE part numbers 193474 and 217983.

VE (UK) also stock the 5 pin regulator (VE16111) that is used in conjunction with this stator.

Vespa Engine Workshop Stand

Vespa PX Electric Start Light Switches

The Vespa PX electric start models have had several versions of light switches fitted over the years, and all 3 versions are available from VE (UK).

VE16138 - Fits PX models manufactured prior to 2005 that have 10 wires (5 fitted with spade connectors and 5 to a multi pin plug). Equivalent to OE part numbers 231850, 218822, 580936, and 21961300.

VE16203 - Fits PX models from 2005 to 2010 that is fitted with 10 wires 

(4 fitted to 2 pin multi pin plugs, 1 with a spade connector, and 5 to a multi pin plug). Equivalent to OE part number 583090.

VE16204 - Fits PX models from 2011 onwards that have headlamps on continuously and has 10 wires (4 fitted to 2 pin multi pin plugs, 1 with a spade connector, and 5 to a multi pin plug). Equivalent to OE part number 1D001485.

All switches are of OEM quality and are supplied with pre fitted electrical connections.

NEW - Newfren "Prorace" Brake Shoes for Classic Vespa

Newfren friction components, available from VE (UK), have released a new “Prorace” compound brake shoe for the Classic Vespa Range.

The main body of the brake shoe is made from a special die-cast aluminium alloy before having the new “Prorace” friction material applied. The new compound has exceptional characteristics that offers considerable improvements in braking performance with a 30% increase in stopping force resulting in a 25% reduction in braking distance.

Proven to improve safety in city traffic thanks to its high resistance to brake fade, and particularly suited for racing scooters that see repeated and heavy braking forces.

The new “Prorace” brake shoes (VE12254-PRO) are suitable for fitment to the following models of Classic Vespa”
