Pinasco has developed a new clutch for the Vespa small frame scooter that uses motorcycle derived technology to produce a clutch that has great “lever feel” whilst remaining both durable and reliable.

The “Shot” clutch (VE10814) is manufactured using an aluminium diecasting process and features 4 friction plates which have been designed to spread the engine's power over the entire perimeter of the clutch. Using a total of 10 calibrated springs the clutch has excellent feel and modulation. 

Designed for high performance tuned engines, but is equally suited for everyday use.

Giannelli’s "G-4 2.0” exhaust system features a brushed stainless steel silencer and header pipe and has been designed to offer performance increases across the rev range while remaining road legal, as well as a weight saving of up to 3kg when compared to the original exhaust.

Key upgraded features from the original G4 include integrated bracket, sleeker look, and shorter link pipe to allow the use of the original exhaust elbow and removing the need for the link pipe to silencer gasket, saving time and problems with seized exhaust studs and lambda probe

NEW - Ducati Branded 5 Terminal Regulator/Rectifier

New to the electrical range at VE (UK) is a Ducati branded 12v 5 terminal regulator/rectifier which is fitted as an OEM item by the Piaggio group, and can be used on both DC and AC scooters.

The new regulator (VE16205) is standard fitment on Vespa PX Disc models and is equivalent to Piaggio part numbers 230824 and 2308245. The 5 terminals are marked G, G, +B, C, and earth. 

The unit can also be used to replace the standard AC 3 terminal regulators and add battery charging capabilities to non battery models using the extra 2 terminals. The part can also be utilised on Lambretta 12v electronic systems.

Malossi Injtronic ECU for Piaggio/Vespa iGet 50

With emissions rules getting tighter each year, Malossi have developed their new “INJTRONIC” ECU for their new 80cc Piaggio iGet cylinder kit which is available through VE (UK).

Designed to offer a “Plug & Play” solution, the “Injtronic” replaces the original ECU giving major improvements over the stock item. This also means that no other sensors are required to be changed from the original parts. The unit is also supplied with a new air hose to maximise air flow.

The new ECU (VM558409) increases the rev limiter to 10000 rpm allowing for more performance, while at the same time controlling the secondary air supply (SAS) valve which sits at the bottom of the throttle body. By controlling the SAS valve, the ECU allows a reduction in emissions and optimises engine performance under all operating conditions. Furthermore the ECU modifies the ignition timing map based on engine speed and temperature, which allows for further performance gains. 

The Injtronic ECU is only to be used the the Malossi 80cc cylinder kit fitted with either the Malossi or standard exhaust systems.

Malossi have further expanded their range of performance products for 125cc motorcycles with the addition of 3 key tuning products for the 2019 Yamaha YZF-R 125 Euro 4, which are available through VE (UK).

183cc cylinder kit (YM317968): The cylinder kit is manufactured from Nikasil plated aluminium alloy with a high content of hardened and tempered silicone. Final machining of the cylinders with CNC machines ensures a tolerance of less than 0.05mm resulting in a perfect cylinder to piston interface. The cylinder kit must be used in conjunction with the Forcemaster 2 ECU.

Forcemaster 2 ECU (0655018417): The “Force Master 2" ECU has four different pre-configured mappings to suit various tuning configurations. In addition, the ECU unit also raises the rev limiter by 600rpm allowing not only a greater top speed but also improved acceleration throughout the gear range.

GP MHR Replica exhaust (0632018449): The GP MHR replica exhaust system is manufactured from stainless steel with an oval cross-section featuring carbon fibre end caps. Homologated for noise level approval. A version with catalytic converter is also available (0632018449-K) which is homologated for both noise and exhaust emissions.

The new seat (LE40507) has seen Nisa’s designers develop a new magnetic seat catch allowing for cleaner lines by removing the usual 4 hole seat catch plate that secures the seat in use. Finished in black vinyl with white contrast piping.
