New to the electrical range at VE (UK) is a Ducati branded 12v 5 terminal regulator/rectifier which is fitted as an OEM item by the Piaggio group, and can be used on both DC and AC scooters.
The new regulator (VE16205) is standard fitment on Vespa PX Disc models and is equivalent to Piaggio part numbers 230824 and 2308245. The 5 terminals are marked G, G, +B, C, and earth.
The unit can also be used to replace the standard AC 3 terminal regulators and add battery charging capabilities to non battery models using the extra 2 terminals. The part can also be utilised on Lambretta 12v electronic systems.
