Their range includes the “Trophy Kit” as fitted to the race series bikes, that increases performance with a 182cc cylinder kit, Forcemaster 2 ECU, E14 air filter and Malossi GP MHR Replica full exhaust system.
The cylinder kit is manufactured from Nikasil plated aluminium alloy with a high content of hardened and tempered silicone. Final machining of the cylinders with CNC machines ensures a tolerance of less than 0.05mm resulting in a perfect cylinder to piston interface.
The included “Force Master 2" CDI unit that has four different pre-configured mappings to suit various tuning configurations. In addition the CDI unit also raises the rev limiter by 1000rpm allowing not only a greater top speed but also improved acceleration throughout the gear range.
The GP MHR replica exhaust system is manufactured from stainless steel with an oval cross section featuring carbon fibre end caps, and is fitted with a DB killer for road use.
Over and above the cylinder kits Malossi also manufacture a cam shaft (YM593877) and rear shock absorber (0646014245) for the YZF-R for those owners who wish to tune their machine further.
The tuning package is available for machines from 2010-2013 (part number 0649014352) and 2014 onwards (part number 06490146676).
