The new gear sets are available for Minarelli 50cc engine scooters with 12/13" wheels and the Vespa GTS 300. The Minarelli gear kits are available in either a 15/42 or 14/43 ratio whilst the GTS 300 kit has a ratio of 22/45.
The three new gear sets all utilise Malossi's H.T.Q process, developed using their 20 years experience in manufacturing gear sets for competition and road scooters. They feature straight cut teeth to minimise losses through friction, this in turn helps to reduce the stresses placed on the gear supports within the gearbox.
