Great New Mirrors From VE (UK)

A simple set of aftermarket mirrors can change the appearance of a scooter no end. VE (UK) continue to build on their fantastic range of custom universal mirrors with the addition of a new style that is available in three colourways.

The new mirrors feature a ball and socket pivot head and feature a cast alloy ladder style arm. The heads of the mirrors have a colour coded reverse to match the stem colour mounted to the black mirror holder.

Available in polished black, polished white and polished chrome finishes, these mirrors are designed to complement any scooter that has standard 8mm mirror mounts.

Supplied as indivdual left/right hand units, allowing for easy replacement of a single mirror should the need arise.

Great New Additions To The TurboKit G-Max Exhaust Range

Turbo Kit's impressive Gmax City Line range of performance exhaust systems has further been expanded with the addition of three new systems for Maxi Scooters.

The three new systems are finished in an attractive, yet sporty matt black finish and feature TurboKits unique rail mounting system to aid exhaust alignment and with the downpipes being secured with a spring mounting system to the silencer fitting is even easier. The shortened profile of the exhaust chamber leads to an clean aesthetically pleasing line and utilises a removable baffle system to modify the exhaust system for race use.

All of the Gmax City Line range are "E" marked to conform to legal requirements and are supplied with all the fitting hardware required.

Finally the most popular car modification, custom alloy wheel rims, is now available to owners of Peugeot Speedfight and Yamaha Aerox automatic scooters. The new wheel rims are available in three styles that will provide real "Bling" to their machine. Until now owners looking to further improve the look of their scooter had body kits, lighting and other accessories. These new wheel rims bring customisation to a new level. Scootsmart - The New Tyre From Dunlop

VE (UK) are pleased to announce the launch of a new high performance scooter tyre from Dunlop.

The ScootSmart tyres are constructed using the latest tyre technology based on the experience gained during the design and use of the highly regarded RoadSmart motorcycle tyres. The tyre has been developed using finite element simulation (FEA) with a tread compound using the highest quality silicone products to provide the perfect balance between grip, load bearing, and high mileage.

ScootSmart from Dunlop combines the precision handling, braking and traction that owners demand allowing confidence in traffic and in cornering, with excellent performance in both wet and dry conditions. Tyre life is also very important and the ScootSmart balances these properties with great longevity. The tread pattern of the ScootSmart is designed to allow lower rolling resistance whilst still maintaining excellent grip under all road conditions.

Further technical innovations were taken from the highly successful RoadSmart sports touring tyre: the ScootSmart has a higher sea/land groove distribution in the central area to enhance performance in the wet, and a lower percentage of groove area in the shoulder zone of the tyre to heighten grip and cornering performance at extreme lean angles. Deeper tread grooves in the central area maintain improved wet-weather performance throughout the tyre’s lifecycle. FEA hydroplaning simulations led to the inclusion of long lateral grooves and multi-directional
sub-grooves, not just for more efficient water drainage but also to optimise contact pressure for high mileage and more regular wear.
