The new range of Classic Vespa oil seals are an ideal choice when rebuilding any engine, no matter if its final use is destined for the track or the road, with all owners being able to benefit from the inherent properties of the materials used.
Each oil seal is built around a carbon steel structure for strength and encapsulated with FKM , a special mix of synthetic rubber and fluoroploymer elastomers, with the auxiliary dust and primary sealing lips manufactured from PTFE. The use of PTFE ensures a very low friction and high wear resistance on the rotating mating surfaces.
To maintain a constant pressure on the rotating shafts, Malossi have utilised a stainless steel spring for added durability.
Designed through Malossi's experience on the race track, the oil seals have been throughly tested under the extreme loads found on racing engines.
