New MHR Vespa PX Crank Bearings From VE (UK)

Hot off the presses and following closely behind Malossi's FKM/PTFE oil seals for the Vespa PX/Cosa is the new MHR crank bearing set, available from VE (UK).

The new bearing set from Malossi offers significant benefits over standard replacement bearings available, with oversized balls, carbonnitrided inner rings, steel and polymide cages to improve not only longevity but all lubrication properties. Malossi have also had the bearings designed with reinforcement to allow for greater loads for heavy duty applications.

Currently available for the Vespa PX/Cosa range of scooters with further Vespa models to follow including: Vespa T5, Vespa small frame, Vepsa PK XL, and Piaggio Ape'.

The Malossi oil seals are built around a carbon steel structure for strength and encapsulated with FKM, a special mix of synthetic rubber and fluoroploymer elastomers, with the auxiliary dust and primary sealing lips manufactured from PTFE. The use of PTFE ensures a very low friction and high wear resistance on the rotating mating surfaces. 

To maintain a constant pressure on the rotating shafts, Malossi have utilised a stainless steel spring for added durability with the oil seals having been throughly tested under the extreme loads found on racing engines. The use of these advanced material technologies ensures the highest product quality, which is, as always, the driving force behind all of the Malossi product range.

The oil seal kits are currently available for the Vespa PX, Vespa small frame, and Vespa PK XL/ETS.
