Malossi developed their clutch plate set for the Yamaha TMax 500 race series, born out of a need for a high performance, slip resistant assembly that could perform flawlessly under race conditions on tuned machines.
The clutch plates themselves are asbestos free and are produced from a material using special fibres to resist slipping whilst offering excellent heat resistance and enable a progressive engagement curve.
The clutch plate set suits all year variants of the TMax 500 and is supplied with 3 sets of springs allowing fine tuning of the clutches engagement point in the rev range. The springs are manufactured from a pre hardened carbon steel that have been treated to offer an extended life cycle.
